Silly human virus!
Okay...I really thought I was getting better...and then last night came. Apparently an evening of Ticket to Ride and banging dirt off clods of grass leads to set backs in the healthiness of mine silly self. So now I'm back to feeling like month old leftovers and sounding like a gargoyle with partial laryngitis. Which I'm probably spelling wrong but the NyQuil in me says it doesn't care.

Hey...who filled this wine glass?
I would just like to say...I make a mean Stroganoff. Made it with deer loin tonight...it was so darn flavourful you couldn't even tell it was deer. And I made enough to feed the DBF for at least 2 days!
And I bought more stuff on Etsy...this could get to be a problem. This time it's a couple of cutesy KIP (I've decided that means Knit In Progress-it's the obvious choice) bags from ruddawg. A medium one and a small one. If I get a mini one in my Phat box I'll have a whole set!
And now I'm off to the couch for any evening of sitting there and trying to feel like a healthy human again.

I seem to be in possession of a blog...
I'm going to blame Jessie from Phat Fiber. All I did was sign in so I could comment on a fabulous store she pointed us at!! Oh well.
So I was incredibly sick yesterday. The kind where you wish you were back home so your mom could make you soup and bring you NyQuil. Fortunately my mom lives 10 minutes away and I got delivery! Yay for mommies!
Bonus though! In an effort to make myself feel better I ordered some of this fabulous fiber from
CJ at extremespinning. It's a shetland/milk fiber blend that has a destiny as a wrap.
A lovely lacey wrap that I shall pet and love and name it George...I think there's still some NyQuil in my system.
I'm going to blame the PhatFiber Sampler box for all this fabulous yarn I'm finding now. I'm still waiting to receive my box (I'm in Canada. What do you expect when our postal service only works 5 days a week and the parcel has to come through customs?) but I've been visiting all the various contributor's sites in the mean time. I think my hobby is about to become incredibly expensive. But who wants to make cotton dishclothes all the time?
On a totally different front-Krista gave me the main part of my be
lt to work on. I think she's trying to induct me into the sweatshop of Fancyland Designs. But really when all that hard work turns into a fabulous, personally fitted, glittery bellydance costume it's hard to be crabby about it. This was my secret santa present from Krista in 2008. We're working on the belt right now and the skirt will follow eventually. And that blindingly white thing it's on is my fabulous duct tape dummy. But since I can't do the bra up on it I'm goign to have to do some remeasuring and trimming and restuffing I think. The scale says I'm not changing, my clothes say I'm getting fatter and my dummy says I've gotten smaller...WTF?
Well that seems to be about it for now. I think I'll go out and bang dirt in my yard for a while. I'll post something about that tomorrow I think. I could get into this blog thing!
